Plan your next trip all around the world with this gorgeous paper lampshade created from a variety of vintage world maps.

Never one to waste treasures, this lampshade is made from pieces remaining from other projects using salvaged copies of world atlases.

Handcut paper circles are applied to a paper lampshade with a wire structure inside so the finished lantern is quite strong and durable.

The listing is for the paper shade only; the lantern is for use with a standard ceiling pendant type lamp holder.

Each lampshade is made using original maps so yours will be similar to the one pictured here, but never identical, so always unique.

The lampshade is created using a globe paper shade 12" (30.5cm) diameter. Use an 11 watt Eco low energy light bulb for fire safety, the environment, and to protect the lampshade's condition.

Each lampshade is handmade to order so please allow 5-7 days before it is ready to send. Packaged for shipping in a strong mailing box, carefully wrapped to arrive safely.
